Electric Operations Analyst

The Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA), a wholesale electric generating and transmission company, located in Carmel, Indiana is looking for qualified applicants to fill an Electric Operations Analyst position. Responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day support of compliance initiatives including: assistance in evaluation and compliance with NERC standards and recordkeeping for NERC compliance, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations and laws,
• Assisting with market auctions, bids and offers,
• Evaluation of historical energy market performance,
• Advocate in Energy Market stakeholder groups,
• Maintain and improve existing SCADA and market databases,
• Provide reports to Management and Control Room staff on market activities.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Business is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
