IMPA was formed to supply economic, reliable and environmentally-responsible wholesale power to its members. While power supply remains the Agency's primary goal, IMPA also provides support to member utilities in other areas, including engineering, accounting, economic development, government relations and communications. ISC, a not-for-profit subsidiary of IMPA, provides engineering and management services beyond power supply and transmission to municipal utilities as well.
